PostA few Linux E-Books to get you started

rock_tux
Back in the day when I first started to use a flavor of Linux (Mandrake 8.2), I had a hard time using it. This was due to the lack of information, the Internet wasn’t that popular, so it took me a while to understand and work with it.

Now, things are very different. The Internet is almost in every home in the world so information is easily reachable (if you know where to look). So, just to ease your search, I’ve gathered a small collection of E-Books to get you started in using an open-source OS.

Here they are:

1. A Newbie’s Initiation To Linux – Download (1.90MB) snatched 1879 times
2. Introduction to Linux – A hands on guide – Download (1.52MB) snatched 1493 times
3. Ubuntu Pocket Guide and Reference – Download (2.13MB) snatched 1507 times
4. GNU/Linux Command−Line Tools Summary – Download (682.45KB) snatched 1569 times

Feel free to try different distributions and choose your favorite one.
