A new direction

Over the past year, I went through a few jobs and I kinda neglected the website due to lack of time. Recently, the last company that I worked for, closed up the development department due to the financial crisis and I started to think of ways to fill up my time… at least until I find a new job.

I thought… I shoud continue to post interesting things that I find over the web… ‘cuz that’s what I’ve been doing until now but I realized that you don’t want to see something you already read or heard about.

So… to avoid these problems, I decided to do what I know. Code stuff.

To convince you that I’m serious, I fixed a dead-line for a new script. Next week, monday, it will be available for testing and download. Of course, for free.

It’s nothing to original or special, but it’s something to warm up. After all, I have to manage my own time and resources and I need some time to adjust. So, the thing I decided to code is a shoutbox. It has a real-time auto-refresh of messages feature that can be disabled to stop the chat simulation.

I’ll set up a subdomain soon to offer a demo of it. Please keep in mind that I will periodicaly delete all the messages.
