Sanyo CE52SR1 – Waterproof LCD panel

Sanyo's water resistant LCD panel Sanyo developed a LCD monitor a little out of the ordinary. It’s water resistant. CE52SR1 allows you, if you ever want to, to work when you’re under the shower. However, you should also have a matching desktop case. But this monitor wasn’t built for indoor use but for displaying advertising messages under the open sky.

In order for these applications to be possible, this unit uses a special type of glass for it’s display that doesn’t reflect the daylight. It’s also very light and energy efficient if compared to other similar sized models.

Another plus for the Sanyo LCD is that this model is Full HD (1920x1080px), it has a contrast rate of 1.500:1 that makes it easily readable even under bright sunlight and a brightness level of 1500 cd/m2.

Sanyo CE52SR1 can be easily used for the majority of external applications, in places such as theme parks, sports events, bus or train stations, on highway panels or in malls or in shop windows.

The unit is built out of aluminum and it was developed without the "usual" ventilation holes, in stead it has a specially designed system that keeps the temperature at a low value.
