PostThe 3 front Wars: Apple vs. Open Source vs. Microsoft

Since it first appeared on the market as a company, Microsoft has rapidly developed into a software giant, who had only a competitor, Apple, on the OS market.

A few years later, Linux was first developed and released to the masses. It was a free, UNIX based OS.

Years passed and now, Apple has a few but quality products and services that it relies on, Microsoft has a lot of products, some of them really bad and some almost good, now Linux has blossomed into a wide variety of distributions, has tons of cool FREE software that cover all the needs of it’s users (including my own), it is generally accepted as the most reliable OS out there.

But, the fight for supremacy on the software market hasn’t stopped for one seccond. Below is a very nice graphic representation of the fronts this battle goes on.
