We all have found ourselves in the situation of needing a small size, portable scanner. I found myself many times in the library reading some technical books and copy some of that info back home for more study or testing. But I found that it was rather dificult to copy some large electronic schematics and charts by hand.

We have now a little gadget that we’ll make our lives a hole lot easyer from this point of view. The DocuPen RC800 is a high-end, wireless color scanner in the shape of a pen. This little thing is capable to scan a full A4 page at 24bit color depth and in high definition resolution of up to 400dpi in just seconds. It can store hundreads of pages in it’s built-in 8MB flash memory and if that is not enough memory for you, you can easily expand that via a MicroSD card up to 1024 MB.

DocuPen RC800 measures 200 x 20 x 20 mm at 57 grams and is the most advanced portable pen scanner compared to the other models existent on the market that can only scan single text lines or need a computer connectivity.
